Advertised only by a red elephant on the doors they keep open 7 days a week, Enormous Room serves Central Square with live DJ sets containing anything from club to dubstep. In 2004, residents DJ Flack and DJ C began the weekly Beat Research event to bring experimental party music to the masses by mixing familiar beats with anything from ragga to bhangra, jungle or Boston bounce in what Grooves magazine has called “a super-virus of mind-bending and ass-shaking sound.” On Monday, February 8th, the Moroccan-themed bar and lounge welcomes DJ Rupture to the Beat Research booth.
